My goal with this website is to gather, preserve, organize and share data I’ve discovered through 20+ years of collaborative efforts. I’m dedicated to discovering Mecklenburg’s roots and connections, and wanting to know how our ancestors lived. Researching my own Mecklenburg ancestors, I quickly realized I needed to learn about the whole community and how people from all ethnicities, occupations, religions and other beliefs interacted.
