Christ Chapel Episcopal Church
Address: The church is no longer standing. Directions to the cemetery from findagrave: “The cemetery is located on Rt 58, about 2 miles East of Boydton on the left side of this road. It is located between Rt 608 – Ridge Rd and Hayes Mill Rd. It is surrounded by a chain link fence. The cemetery sign is not visible from the road as it is further back into the cemetery and under the shade of the trees.”
Christ Church was established 17 November 1879, as a the church for the poor house. A history of the church says the church was at the poor house. On the map (top of page), the cemetery is marked, up the road from the church and poor house.

A Sunday school was established at the poor house at the time of establishment, November 1879. No other known educational classes available at this site.
